Plot twist: The next companion is a normal girl/boy who only dies once in their lifetime and has no remarkable back story but he thinks they’re wonderful because they are human and the Doctor needs reminding that you don’t need to be a mystery to be remarkable.

I cannot even watch Dr Who anymore, I watched the first season with Matt Smith and then I just couldn’t.
Now don’t take what I’m going to say next in a bad way but… I feel like the show is pandering to an American audience waaaay too much. I hope that anyone who watches the show will know what I mean by that.
It’s all drama, drama, drama, mystery ,explosions and while there is nothing wrong with those things it’s just too much.
And yeah seriously don’t even get me started on fucking Amy, why did people even like her?
All the camp silliness has been taken out of the show, for me anyway.
Honestly all the Dr has ever needed is the Tardis, some daleks, The Master and a companion who could keep their head in a crisis.
